Database

The database constitutes the centrepiece of the NISE platform.

The data are controlled and structured into index cards, which, together with the operational tools and information about the records and collections, are centralised and correlated in a user-friendly database and, at the end of the process, made freely accessible to the public in the form of authority files.

Read more on the make-up of the database at Configuration.

The data are entered into one of five different Master records.

In order to retrieve data, three modes of operation are used: see Input
