The activities developed within NISE all contribute to its main objective: providing data for research on national movements.
They fall into three categories:
- events, regular and occasional, connecting scholars and institutes;
- research and archival projects, initiated by NISE or carried out for third parties within its framework;
- three kinds of publications.
